It's The End Of The World As We Know It, And I Feel Fine

Well today I realised that I manage to confuse myself far too easily and far too often. I previously thought the show I'm doing was going to be this week, only to discover that it isn't... So of course I would check the dates and see which week of this month it was meant to be, but no I just assumed that it was next week, which is again wrong! The show I'm doing is 23rd to 26th Jan. This means that it is not this week, next week but the week after that.  It's annoying discovering that I was getting excited over something that was actually a bit of time away... and also doing it twice. Never thought I could be quite so stupid.  Well, just means I'll have to set everybody straight again about when the show is, and it will give me more time to relax and get 'ready'. :D N'night all

So it's 01:34 and I'm bored so I thought I might do my first sort of 'official' post. I can't see it being a very long post as I have work at 12:30. I have a show coming up next week which is 'Hansel and Gretel'. This should be great fun to do, especially as I convinced one of my best mates to come and help as well. So it's going to a brilliant, long, stressful week, with great people - I couldn't think of anything better.  For this show I'm doing lighting, which involves lots of lugging lighting around, hanging them, standing up ladders whilst trying to point them in the right direction and then sitting behind a fairly old Strand lighting desk and my laptop (because I managed to convince them to let me run the magic lights using my laptop, hehehe). After or during the show I'll have an update about how it's going, possibly some pictures and what I've spent the week doing.  I've already ordered a create of cans of coke from ...

I know a couple of people that have blogs, so I thought I might give one a go. I thought that I might not have enough to say to even make a decent post, yet I'll see how it goes. To start off I'll introduce myself. I'm a 16 year old that lives at home with my parents and my brother. I left college after being there for a couple of weeks because I decided it wasn't for me. So I went out and got a full time job... in a Post Office. I aspire to be a sound and light tech for live performances, which I'm slowly working my way up to. I do various amateur dramatic shows which has taught me a huge amount about the area of work that I want to go into.  If people to seem to be interested in my posts then I will try and post fairly regularly possibly once a week, otherwise there's a good chance it will be as and when I remember. I'll probably use this blog to rant about various things that annoy me. Or use talk about random sh*t when I'm bored :) Well th...
